what we do
Golden Gate Productions provides Cinematography services in roles such as Director, Director of Photography, Videographer, Camera Operator, and Drone Cinematography. We offer rentals on a variety of cameras, lighting, and specialty equipment, such as steadicams, gimbals, drones, and sliders. In addition to equipment rentals, we can provide crew members to staff projects of all scopes and sizes.

Ryan O'Donnell
With over 22 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Ryan has filmed for some of the biggest TV networks and the most well-known and Emmy award-winning series all over the world: names like Survivor, The Amazing Race, Below Deck, Ice Road Truckers, and Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. From the skyscrapers of New York City, the jungles of The South Pacific, the frigid Arctic Circle, and the beauty of his own San Francisco Bay Area backyard, Ryan has utilized his gift of capturing the human spirit, and telling stories with innovation and creativity.
Ryan started Golden Gate Productions so he could expand his work to include working with celebrities, businesses, both large and small, as well as more locally-owned “mom and pop” spots and non-profits. In this new environment Ryan has found his calling to use his diverse skill set and experience to help others visually share their stories and dreams with the world.
